This role seeks a motivated Project Engineer to join the New Maintenance Technologies team, focusing on developing cutting-edge, data-driven solutions for railway rolling stock maintenance. The core responsibility involves enabling scalable and reliable deployment of these solutions by developing, maintaining, and optimizing robust CI/CD and data pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Docker Compose, and Airflow. You will ensure seamless integration into the company's IT infrastructure and build interfaces with existing internal systems. A key aspect of the job is supporting condition monitoring use cases, which includes designing real-time data processing frameworks, identifying actionable maintenance tasks from field results, and effective internal and external documentation. This position offers creative freedom and the opportunity to shape the future of global mobility within a leading company, requiring a relevant degree and strong command of Python, SQL, German, and English.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD and data pipelines for applied data science projects.
  • Experience ensuring smooth integration of developed solutions into corporate IT infrastructure.
  • Experience building and maintaining interfaces with existing internal tools and systems.
