Job Summary

RheinCargo GmbH & Co. KG, a major inland port operator and private freight railway in Germany, is seeking two Applications Specialists to join their IT & Projects department in Cologne. In this role, you will be responsible for the support and ongoing development of IT applications, contributing to change management processes, and independently planning and coordinating IT sub-projects, ideally using agile methodologies like Scrum. You will also handle technical and administrative IT operations tasks, create and maintain technical documentation and training materials, and actively participate in IT projects throughout their lifecycle. A key part of your role will involve managing the IT ticketing system, including analyzing, tracking, and coordinating incidents and requests. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic logistics environment, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of critical IT systems.
