Job Summary
As a Project Manager for 110kV line construction projects, you will be a key player in shaping the future of energy supply by leading complex high-voltage construction initiatives within the Avacon grid. Your daily tasks will involve conceptualizing and managing projects, developing technical and economic solutions for grid expansion, renewal, and upgrade, especially for renewable energy transport. You will oversee all project phases from planning and permitting to commissioning, ensuring adherence to high safety standards, timelines, budgets, and quality. This role offers the chance to work in an interdisciplinary team, manage project budgets, and drive critical permitting processes, contributing significantly to Germany's energy transition.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master/Bachelor/Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Surveying, Construction Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Basic knowledge in project management/execution of construction projects (ideally)
- Basic knowledge of the energy industry (desirable)
- Basic knowledge of high-voltage line construction (desirable)
- Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and develop project-specific technical solutions
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel within the Avacon grid area (and occasionally beyond); Possession of a car driver's license.
