Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Research Associate or Postdoc to join a multidisciplinary project focused on male infertility and the development of novel non-hormonal contraceptives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing research funded by the Gates Foundation, specifically working on pharmacologically disabling sperm. Day-to-day tasks include optimizing high-throughput screening assays for drug compounds using human sperm, characterizing the pharmacological effects of new molecules on sperm target proteins, and conducting quantitative analyses of sperm motility. This position requires a strong background in life sciences, experience with microscopy, and a commitment to translational research within an international team, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to significant scientific innovation.
Required Skills
Education
University degree with a doctorate in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biomedicine, or a related life science.
