Job Summary

This full-time role involves providing essential IT support and coordination within the Ministry of the Interior, for Digitization and Communities Baden-Württemberg. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for approximately 600 employees, managing IT standard equipment, material administration, and acting as a liaison with external IT service providers. Key responsibilities include first and second-level support for communication devices (phones, smartphones, tablets), Windows clients, and IT infrastructure. The position also involves operating and maintaining video conferencing technology and platforms, including technical support for important meetings and events. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, a service-oriented mindset, and a proactive approach to IT challenges, offering a stable, interesting, and varied work environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training of at least three years in information and communication technology, or equivalent skills and experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT service management (desirable)
  • Professional experience in IT support (desirable)
  • Experience with iOS devices (hardware and software) in a business environment (desirable)
