Job Summary
The Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry in Jena is seeking a Technical Assistant to join the Dryland Ecosystem Processes research group. This part-time role (65%) is crucial for an international and interdisciplinary collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, focusing on climate and ecosystems. The successful candidate will be involved in field sampling campaigns, preparing and analyzing plant and soil samples for functional traits and isotopes, and supervising interns and student assistants.
