Job Summary
This role involves conceptualizing and setting up measurement devices on various test setups and rigs. The Master Electrician will position and adapt sensors or optical measurement techniques, connecting them to data acquisition systems. Key responsibilities include creating measurement setups using specialized software, performing function tests of the entire measurement chain, and conducting error detection. The role also requires performing quick evaluations of measurement signals, converting them to physical values using calibration data, and preparing measurement data for project managers. The successful candidate will also control and verify calibrations, potentially engaging external companies, and continuously optimize and develop capacities in short-term dynamic measurement technology. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician with a Master Electrician's certificate in Electrical Engineering or comparable fields (e.g., telecommunications, measurement, building, plant technology)
Experience
- Professional experience in applying MS-Office (Word, Excel)
- Professional experience and knowledge in occupational and plant safety
- Several years of experience in the design and construction of complex electrotechnical setups, such as control cabinets
- Experience with various measurement sensors (desirable)
- Experience in using test equipment for systematic troubleshooting (desirable)
Languages
Additional
- Must possess a Class B/C1 driving license or be willing to acquire it, along with a Bundeswehr driving license and authorization to operate special vehicles (or willingness to acquire them). Agreement to drive official vehicles. Commitment to the free democratic basic order as per the Basic Law. Willingness to participate in a medical examination. Agreement to participate in an extended security clearance, which is mandatory for the position.
