Join a dynamic research team in Quedlinburg as a Technical Assistant, contributing to a third-party funded project focused on potato breeding for enhanced resistance to pectinolytic bacteria. This role involves hands-on laboratory and greenhouse work, including maintaining bacterial strains, performing phenotyping methods for potato diseases, and conducting molecular biology tasks such as DNA extraction, PCR, and sequencing preparation. You will also be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and documenting experiments, as well as preparing protocols and preliminary data analysis using Excel.
