Job Summary
The German Cancer Research Center is seeking a PhD Student to join the Junior Research Group "Mechanisms of Genome Control." This role involves actively contributing to cutting-edge research in enhancer-dependent gene regulation, focusing on the role of promoter contacts. The successful candidate will plan and execute advanced (epi-)genomic and genome engineering experiments, perform data analysis, and present findings in meetings and at conferences. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry or similar
Experience
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques
- Experience in cell culture
- Experience with embryonic stem cells (advantageous)
- Experience in bioinformatic analyses (distinct advantage)
Languages
Additional
- Proof of immunity against measles required (Infection Protection Act IfSG)
