Job Summary

This role involves shaping the future of Hamburg's energy infrastructure by developing design principles and structures for both primary and secondary power grids. The successful candidate will conduct fundamental network planning studies, create implementation plans, and analyze the impact of new regulations on the distribution network. A key responsibility will be evaluating necessary changes driven by new customer connections or shifts in high-voltage conditions, and creating scenarios for network connection concepts. The position requires a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in distribution network planning and project work, combined with a high affinity for IT and ideally some knowledge of network calculation software and programming. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field with an electrical engineering background

  • Initial knowledge in network calculation software and programming (ideally)
