Job Summary
Join the Workplace Engineering Team at the Canton of Zurich's IT Department (AFI) and actively shape the digital future of the canton. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for planning and designing modern workplace architectures, ensuring they adhere to stringent security and governance standards. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing complex customer needs, developing solution proposals, driving the Workplace Roadmap, and coordinating engineering activities as a Lead Engineer. You will also implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) and consult System Engineers during technical implementation. This role requires extensive experience in IT workplace design, particularly with Microsoft technologies, and demands very strong German language skills due to the public sector context. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Informatics (Higher Technical College, Bachelor, or Master level).
Experience
- Professional experience of at least 8 years in the IT sector.
- At least 4 years of experience specifically within the Workplace and Microsoft environment.
- In-depth expertise in Microsoft technologies.
- Experience in the design and implementation of complex IT workplace solutions.
