Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT Competence Center for the Canton of Zurich as a Cloud Engineer specializing in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD). You will be a key member of the IAM team, responsible for the conception, implementation, and continuous development of cloud Identity and Access Management solutions across various governmental departments and public users. Daily tasks involve administering and evolving the Entra ID environment, managing user identities, groups, and roles, and implementing critical security measures like Conditional Access Policies, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) based on Zero Trust principles. You will also contribute to IAM projects and automate routine tasks using PowerShell or Bash scripting. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and extensive experience in the Entra ID ecosystem, coupled with fluent German and English skills, offering high autonomy and the chance to actively shape a growing public sector IAM environment near Zurich Main Station.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field. Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience and broad knowledge in the Entra ID environment
- Practical experience with PowerShell scripting, Bash, and Microsoft Graph API
