Job Summary

The Bavarian State Institute for Viticulture and Horticulture (LWG) is seeking a Head for its Institute for Apiculture and Beekeeping. This leadership role involves overseeing the institute's strategic direction, planning, and coordination across areas like bee health, practical beekeeping, breeding, products, and pollination. The successful candidate will coordinate and acquire research projects, manage budgets, and ensure effective knowledge transfer through publications and presentations. They will also be responsible for developing and structuring training programs for various beekeeper groups, advising governmental bodies and associations, and fostering national and international collaborations.
