Job Summary

This role involves leading and executing projects in the energy technology sector across Germany, from initial planning through implementation to successful completion. The Project Manager will ensure projects adhere to budget, quality, and timeline constraints, while also serving as the primary client contact to ensure satisfaction. Key responsibilities include supporting sales by contributing client knowledge during the bidding phase, technically leading commissioning teams, coordinating subcontractors, and managing client relationships throughout and beyond project completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, including budget and risk oversight, and will contribute to the strategic development of partner management. This position offers an opportunity to drive significant projects within a large corporation, focusing on the establishment, expansion, modernization, or migration of energy technology solutions.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Automation Technology) OR completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Master/Technician and long-term experience in project management. Project management certification is desirable.

Experience

  • Comprehensive experience in the design of energy distribution/supply systems
  • Proven success in project management
  • Multi-year experience in managing crisis projects or turnaround challenges and reporting to management
  • Professional experience with products and systems from leading manufacturers of low and medium voltage technology
  • Routine in project execution, familiar with contract law, claim management (VOB, BGB), and relevant energy technology standards (e.g., VDE, DIN)

  • Valid driver's license (PKW-Führerschein) for travel to client sites. Willingness to travel nationwide within Germany.
