Job Summary
The University of Bonn is seeking a motivated PhD student to join its Land Economics group, focusing on making agriculture globally more sustainable through policy-oriented research. The successful candidate will engage in empirical impact assessments of various policy types, evaluate smart farming innovations, and analyze land degradation and the trade-offs between agricultural production and environmental conservation. Day-to-day tasks will involve working with geospatial data, conducting econometric analysis using empirical research designs, and contributing to ambitious and novel research.
