Job Summary

This role involves leading a team of approximately 12 employees responsible for database management and transition within the German pension insurance's joint data center. The Team Lead will oversee database administration, automation using Ansible, DBaaS, and the preparation and provision of databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL) and related tools. A key aspect of the role is to actively support dynamic change processes on both a technical and personnel level, ensuring the smooth operation of critical IT architecture that enables pension and rehabilitation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background, experience in database administration, and proven leadership skills with a service-oriented mindset, contributing to one of Germany's largest nationwide digitalization projects.
