Job Summary

This role involves developing and providing high-quality applications for tax administration in North Rhine-Westphalia and nationwide. The Software Developer will apply extensive IT expertise at the interface between legacy systems and new program services, advising both the internal team and clients. Key responsibilities include modernizing existing applications, new development, maintenance, and support of Java applications in a modern enterprise environment, including data modeling. The position also entails debugging, troubleshooting (3rd-level support), and testing applications to minimize operational errors.
