Job Summary
This System Engineer role, based in Augsburg for a defense industry client, involves defining and designing system architectures for complex solutions, including component selection and integration. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing and specifying system requirements, integrating hardware and software, and coordinating interfaces between system components. The successful candidate will also plan and execute system tests, diagnose technical problems, evaluate components and suppliers, and create comprehensive technical documentation. This position requires strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems, ideally within the automotive, robotics, industrial automation, medical technology, or aerospace sectors.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field of study
Experience
- Professional experience in embedded system development and microcontroller programming
- Professional experience with relevant simulation software and measurement technology
- Several years of professional experience in the development and integration of complex systems, ideally in automotive, robotics, industrial automation, medical technology, or aerospace engineering
