Job Summary

This role involves operational planning and project management for cycling infrastructure projects, including the establishment of bike lanes, protected bike lanes, and bicycle parking facilities, aligning with the 2025 Cycling Master Plan. The successful candidate will create CAD planning documents, develop and evaluate planning variants, and coordinate with various departments and external partners. Key responsibilities also include calculating quantities and costs for projects, contributing to the development of cycling networks, and representing the department's interests in public and political forums. This position offers a varied and responsible role within the public service, contributing directly to sustainable urban mobility, with opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university of applied sciences degree (e.g., Bachelor's/Diploma) in Civil Engineering or a comparable engineering degree, OR successful qualification as a state-certified technician (preferably civil engineering) or state-certified master craftsman (HWK) with several years of professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in civil engineering or a comparable engineering field
  • Experience with complex topics and structured problem-solving
  • Experience in presenting plans to political bodies and the public
