Job Summary

Join the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Germany's national metrology institute, as a Research Scientist in Braunschweig. In this role, you will contribute to the "Sound Metrology" working group by conceptualizing and building high-frequency electrical microphone preamplifiers and infrasound calibrators. You'll also be involved in developing and testing measurement microphones for specialized infrasound applications. This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics, with practical experience in hardware design and metrology. Fluency in German (C1) and English (B2) is essential, along with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
