Job Summary

This doctoral researcher position at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge electrical quantum metrology. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and characterizing an optically driven multi-channel Josephson Arbitrary Waveform Synthesizer (JAWS) for high-precision voltage measurements. The role also includes publishing scientific results and presenting at international conferences. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diplom/Master) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field with at least a "good" grade

Experience

  • Practical experience in precision measurement technology, high-frequency technology, superconductivity, optical measurement technology, photonics, or optical engineering
  • Strong interest and aptitude for experimental activities
