Job Summary

The City of Kiel is seeking an engaged System Coordinator to join its Central Control and Intendancy staff unit. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for various specialized applications, managing everything from software updates and troubleshooting to communicating with software manufacturers. You will also be responsible for the provision and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including setting up and installing hardware and software, ensuring operational readiness, and managing the procurement process. Required Skills

Education

• Completed vocational training (at least three years) as an IT Specialist, IT System Electronics Technician, Digitalization Management Merchant, or IT System Management Merchant • OR completed career examination for the second entry-level of career group one, General Services • OR completed training as an Administrative Assistant or completed Employee Course I • OR completed vocational training (at least three years)

Experience

  • At least two years of relevant professional experience based on the required education and training (for specific IT-related vocational degrees)
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience within the last ten years in system coordination and/or IT technology (for administrative vocational degrees)
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience within the last ten years in system coordination and/or IT technology (for other three-year vocational degrees)
