Job Summary

This role involves ensuring environmental compliance and protection by overseeing and approving complex commercial and industrial facilities, particularly in the textile, food, chemical, and storage sectors. Day-to-day tasks include conducting environmental and incident inspections, performing on-site controls, final acceptances, and reviewing reports. The successful candidate will also manage approval and modification procedures for facilities requiring environmental permits, review change notifications, and provide advice on complaints and inquiries. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree (Bachelor or Diploma (FH)) in Environmental Engineering, Supply and Disposal Technology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in plant-related environmental protection (beneficial)
  • Knowledge of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and related regulations (beneficial)
  • Experience in accompanying extensive administrative procedures or willingness to acquire it
