Job Summary

Join the 'Proteomics and Cancer Cell Signaling' junior research group at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg as a Technical Assistant. You will actively contribute to a specific research project focused on unraveling mechanisms of drug resistance in cancers like leukemia and osteosarcoma, utilizing cutting-edge technologies. Day-to-day tasks involve performing cell biological experiments (S1/S2 area), molecular biological work, and protein biochemistry. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced techniques such as CRISPR technology, drug screening, and mass spectrometry. Required Skills

Education

BTA (Biological Technical Assistant), MTA (Medical Technical Assistant), Biology Laboratory Technician, or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Experience in complex cell cultures (highly advantageous)
  • Research experience with animal and/or human stem cell lines (advantageous)
  • Experience in cell biological, molecular biological, and protein biochemical methods (advantageous)
  • Professional experience in a research laboratory (entry-level candidates welcome)
