Job Summary

This PhD position at the Helmholtz Institute HI-TRON in Mainz offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to cutting-edge cancer research. The successful candidate will join the Division of Personalized Immunotherapy, focusing on the development of next-generation Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs) with enhanced immune-modulating potential. Day-to-day tasks involve designing and conducting experiments to evaluate the immune-modulatory effects of HER2-targeting ADCs, analyzing data related to anti-tumor immunity and cell death mechanisms, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in tumor immunology or a related field, offering hands-on experience in techniques with direct clinical relevance and the chance to advance personalized immunotherapies.

Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, bioengineering, or a related field

  • Experience in cell culture, immunological methods, and/or preclinical animal models
