This role is for a Junior Engineer to develop into an Expert Certifier for Railway Control and Safety Systems (LST) at DB InfraGO AG. The successful candidate will specialize in various sub-areas and construction types within LST, ensuring the quality of planning for digital interlocking technology projects, existing systems, and ETCS as a Planning Certifier. As an Acceptance Certifier, they will lead on-site teams to ensure successful commissioning after years of project planning and realization. The position involves intensive training to achieve certification as a Planning or Acceptance Certifier, applying railway-specific laws, regulations, and technical standards, and evaluating advanced digitalization solutions to ensure safe railway operations.
