Job Summary
As a Deputy Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of technical systems for Europe's leading textile service expert. You will be responsible for workforce planning across shifts, organizing and conducting training, and managing the cost-effective procurement of technical supplies and spare parts. This position involves overseeing audits (hygiene, medical devices, fire protection), coordinating external technicians and contractors, and ensuring compliance with deadlines for system inspections. A key aspect of the role is budget and investment planning, along with the installation of new systems. You will also provide service for client-installed clothing distribution systems, including training client's in-house technical staff and communicating with manufacturers, often in English. This role is ideal for a technically skilled leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining high operational standards.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical education in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, preferably with further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable technical position
- Initial experience in personnel management or as a deputy team leader
- Prior experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial systems
- Experience in occupational safety and fire protection (desirable)
