Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the "Oder Project," a significant initiative focused on implementing river regulation concepts for the border Oder river, aligning with German-Polish agreements for waterway improvement and flood protection. Day-to-day tasks include determining basic requirements for regulation concepts, preparing quantity surveys for planning and construction, and assisting with the tendering and awarding of planning and construction services for waterway bed maintenance. The position also requires supporting construction management, including site supervision, measurement control, and invoice processing. Ideal candidates will have a background as a certified technician in civil or environmental engineering, practical experience in hydraulic engineering, and familiarity with environmental law and public procurement. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a critical cross-border infrastructure project within an interdisciplinary team, integrating ecological development measures to meet Water Framework Directive objectives.
