Job Summary

This role is for a Service Engineer specializing in Automation Technology, based in the Radolfzell area near Lake Constance. The primary responsibilities include providing first-level technical support to customers for plant-related issues via remote assistance and on-site visits, performing systematic problem analysis, and implementing solutions. The engineer will also be involved in adapting existing programs after fault analysis, managing 8D-Reports, and handling quotes and orders. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Technical Informatics, or a relevant technician/master qualification, coupled with strong knowledge in PLC programming and Windows operating system configuration. The position requires international travel up to 30% and fluent communication in both English and German.
