Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Accounting and Tax Specialist to join a development team in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. The specialist will actively contribute to the enhancement of accounting software by identifying and analyzing balance sheet and tax requirements. Day-to-day tasks include defining clear specifications for implementing legal requirements, acting as a go-to expert for colleagues on all matters related to balance sheets and annual financial statements, and working on diverse tasks such as GoBD, e-balance sheets, online banking, and e-invoicing. The ideal candidate will leverage their practical experience to adapt the software to legal standards and customer needs, collaborating closely with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and customer support. This position offers the chance to apply extensive accounting and tax knowledge in a dynamic software development environment.
