Job Summary
This role involves overseeing and supporting water management and flood protection initiatives within the State Office for Environment and Occupational Safety. Day-to-day tasks include managing tenders, awarding contracts, and supervising construction and execution of measures for traffic safety, water body maintenance, and facility upkeep. The successful candidate will conduct on-site inspections of water bodies and measurement networks, contribute to the development of maintenance plans, and support renaturation projects. Required Skills
Education
Certified Hydraulic Engineering Master or State-certified/State-recognized Construction Technician (specializations: Civil Engineering/Infrastructure, Calculation/Construction Operations/Construction Management, or comparable)
Experience
- Professional experience in general administration (advantageous)
- Further training and education in hydraulic engineering and water body maintenance (advantageous)

- Class B driving license required; Physical fitness for outdoor field work (e.g., inspections in non-barrier-free areas, in bad weather, and outdoors); Work permit for Germany required; Willingness to work in the Saarland region.
