Job Summary
This PhD project offers a unique opportunity to delve into fundamental cell biological research, investigating how cellular signaling coordinates biochemistry and physiology, specifically how nutrient supply impacts cell cycle progression and checkpoint signaling at a single-cell level. The successful candidate will employ a broad spectrum of methods including quantitative phenotyping via live-cell microscopy, in vivo and in vitro biochemistry, analytical HPLC, and proteomics. This interdisciplinary role is ideal for excellent candidates with diverse life science backgrounds who are passionate about exploring how cells make critical decisions regarding division.
