Job Summary

This role involves leading a 20-person team responsible for general administrative affairs, budget management, and IT coordination within the Department for Citizen and Council Services. The successful candidate will coordinate, manage, and optimize work processes, ensuring smooth budget planning and execution, and providing advice on financial matters. A key responsibility is overseeing IT coordination and driving digitalization initiatives to enhance citizen services and internal workflows. Additionally, the Head will act as Deputy Department Head, contributing to strategic goal development and balancing the interests of various stakeholders including citizens, employees, and political bodies. This position offers a chance to shape public services and lead a diverse team in a central municipal department.

Required Skills

Education

Qualification for the general administrative service of career group 2, 1st entry-level office, or completion of Administrative Course II. Alternatively, a relevant university degree (Bachelor/FH-Diploma).

Experience

  • Professional experience in general administrative services, budget management, and IT coordination
  • At least 3 years of experience in positions equivalent to salary grade A 11 or pay grade 10
