Job Summary
The Technical University of Braunschweig is seeking a part-time (50%), fixed-term Laboratory Engineer for its elenia Institute for High Voltage Technology and Energy Systems. This role involves contributing to cutting-edge research projects focused on energy technology, particularly in electromobility charging infrastructure, battery storage, and electric railways. The successful candidate will engage in hands-on laboratory work, analyze and apply existing technical standards, and program simulation environments to analyze future energy systems. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in a MINT (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology) field, or a qualification as an Electrical Specialist (e.g., through an electrical engineering apprenticeship or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering).
Experience
- Professional experience in current research projects related to energy technology, electromobility charging infrastructure, battery storage, and electric railways
- Practical experience with programming, wiring, measuring, and evaluation
