Job Summary
This role involves leading and managing civil engineering projects within Jüchen's public infrastructure department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, tendering, and construction supervision of sewer and road construction projects, often collaborating with external engineering firms. Key tasks include budget management, presenting projects to political committees, and representing the city as the client. The position also entails maintaining and updating road databases, managing public infrastructure, and developing a GIS-based water body cadastre, including assessing hydraulic performance for heavy rainfall events. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Civil Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur (FH/TH) or equivalent Bachelor's degree), preferably with a focus on urban water management.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering, preferably with a focus on urban water management
- Experience with VOB and HOAI regulations
