Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity for an IT Specialist to contribute to public safety by working within the Evaluation and Analysis Center of the West Hesse Criminal Investigation Department. Day-to-day, you will be involved in application and web development, creating tools for operational case analysis, and independently conducting analysis projects in telecommunications forensics for serious criminal cases. Key responsibilities also include advising investigative units on information gathering, data processing, technical data analysis, and information visualization using tools like relationship diagrams and GIS. You will also lead IT projects, administer and develop departmental systems, and train colleagues. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong programming skills, particularly in Python, and foundational mathematical and statistical knowledge.
