Job Summary
This role is for a passionate PLC Programmer eager to develop innovative solutions for complex automation projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and programming PLC controls, commissioning machinery and systems both internally and externally, and creating HMI/visualization interfaces. You will also be involved in troubleshooting, optimizing existing programs, and ensuring functionality through documentation and testing. The position requires collaboration with electrical design, mechanics, and clients to clarify technical aspects. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, experience with PLC programming (ideally Siemens S7 / TIA Portal), and a strong understanding of machine commissioning. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training (e.g., Electrician, Mechatronics Technician) with further training as a Technician OR a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology or comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming
- Experience with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal (ideally)
- Knowledge in commissioning machinery and systems
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel for occasional national and international commissioning assignments
