Job Summary

The Steglitz-Zehlendorf district in Berlin is seeking a Technical Officer for Building Management Systems to join their Facility Management unit. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and energy-optimized operation of the district's buildings, including schools and sports facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing the commissioning and maintenance of building automation systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues with measurement, control, and regulation (MCR) technology, and implementing measures to enhance energy efficiency. You will also be responsible for preparing tender specifications, supervising construction activities, and ensuring the quality of work performed by external companies for modifications, new installations, and modernizations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the community by maintaining critical infrastructure and developing documentation standards for MCR systems across various properties.

Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician in Sanitary, Heating, Air Conditioning, MCR Technology, Energy Systems Electronics, or Electrical Engineering; or equivalent qualifications and experience.
