Job Summary
This role involves leading a critical high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cable project for an energy sector client in Dortmund, Germany, from the conceptual phase through to commissioning. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the tendering, awarding, and implementation of EPCI contracts, as well as overseeing the production, logistics, and installation of energy cables. Key responsibilities also include managing project timelines, budgets, and risks, leading an interdisciplinary project team, and ensuring quality, safety, and environmental protection throughout all project phases. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering)
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in project management, ideally in infrastructure or energy sectors
- Experience with tendering, awarding, and handling complex technical projects (EPCI contracts)
- Experience in project management methods (e.g., IPMA) and in schedule, cost, and risk control
- Leadership competence in interdisciplinary teams
