Job Summary
This role involves the crucial task of commissioning rail vehicles, ensuring their full functionality and compliance with specifications. The successful candidate will perform comprehensive testing, including the exchange and restoration of mechanical and electrical vehicle components, and conduct thorough functional and plausibility checks of vehicle systems. Key responsibilities also include diagnosing and resolving faults, assisting in the creation of test instructions and protocols, supporting vehicle acceptances, and installing and testing vehicle software. This position is ideal for a skilled professional with an electrical or mechatronics background who thrives in a hands-on, problem-solving environment within the rail vehicle manufacturing sector. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician) or comparable qualification. Additional qualifications as a Commissioning Technician - Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technician, System Tester - Electrical Engineering, or comparable are desirable.
