The Justus Liebig University Giessen is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Property, Construction, and Technology department. This full-time, permanent position involves the ongoing maintenance of technical systems, specifically safety lighting, low-voltage switching and installation, and emergency power systems across university properties. The role also includes supervising and monitoring the execution of small to medium-sized construction projects, including measurement and billing, and creating service specifications using IT. Additionally, the engineer will assist with controls and safety inspections of technical systems. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience, practical experience in construction management, and strong organizational skills.
