Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Electrician specializing in complex grid control, responsible for ensuring the stability and availability of high- and low-voltage power grids. Day-to-day tasks include independently performing switching operations in non-remotely controlled switchgear, developing switching concepts based on grid status, and implementing and removing protective measures. The successful candidate will also troubleshoot grid and customer system malfunctions, prepare switching sequences for changeovers, and commission new or modified high- and low-voltage systems. This position requires a strong background in energy distribution systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a high degree of reliability and conscientiousness, offering an opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure operations within a dynamic environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering with a focus on energy distribution systems/grids, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- • At least 5 years of experience in grid operations/grid control, including high-voltage (HS), medium-voltage (MS), and low-voltage (NS) networks and associated control technology
