Job Summary
This role is for a Head of Technical Management at the State School and Technical Facility for Fire and Disaster Protection in Brandenburg, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical leadership of the department, including organizing workflows and managing a team of 5 employees. Key duties involve managing dedicated budget funds and state-owned equipment, maintaining life cycle records, planning maintenance and new acquisitions, and conducting market analyses. The position also requires participation in emergency services during major incidents and disasters. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, experience in resource management, and an interest in vehicle technology, contributing significantly to the operational readiness of fire and disaster protection units.
Required Skills
Education
• Qualification for the higher general administrative service or an equivalent higher service qualification, OR • Bachelor's or Diploma (FH) degree in a relevant field (preferably Administration and Law, Business and Law, Public Management), OR • Completed training as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/in), OR • Other qualification enabling activities in comparable higher general administrative service, OR • Administrative Assistant (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r) or comparable with willingness to complete the second employee examination or Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungswirt/in) or comparable qualification
Experience
- Experience in resource management
