Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding scientist with a doctorate to lead an independent Max Planck Research Group at a Max Planck Institute of their choice for an initial six-year period, with potential for extension. The role involves conducting cutting-edge basic research in life, natural, humanities, social sciences, or law, fostering innovative and interdisciplinary approaches. Successful candidates will receive a W2 position (equivalent to an assistant/non-tenured associate professor), resources for scientific staff, and a generous budget for equipment and consumables, totaling up to 2.7 million euros.
