As a Project Engineer in Automation, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing advanced control systems. Your daily tasks will involve programming and commissioning PLC and HMI systems, alongside managing hardware and software projects for complex challenges. You will also be responsible for selecting, sizing, and specifying instruments, valves, and other equipment. This role requires a strong background in electrical and control engineering, ideally with experience in Siemens Simatic automation systems. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or a completed technical education with further qualification as a state-certified Electrical Technician
Experience
- Professional experience in project planning and programming of Siemens Simatic automation systems (S7, PCS7, WinCC)
- Professional experience in explosion protection and plant safety
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel for domestic and international assignments
