As a Senior Consultant in Financial Services Tax, you will be a key point of contact for banks, insurance companies, and other financial service providers, delivering dynamic solutions within the banking, leasing, capital market, and investment sectors. Your day-to-day will involve developing innovative solutions for complex tax issues, assessing tax questions for financial institutions, and supporting client projects including tax audits and legal appeal procedures. You will also prepare expert opinions on the tax and accounting treatment of capital investments, optimize tax concepts for banking products, and review tax declarations and reports during audits. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing expert tax advice and fostering strong client relationships in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Economics or Law, preferably with a focus on Taxation or Accounting, or a degree as a Certified Tax Administrator (Diplom-Finanzwirt:in)
Experience
- Professional experience in tax consulting for financial services clients
- Experience in supporting tax audits and legal appeal procedures
- Experience in developing and optimizing tax concepts for financial products
