Job Summary

This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the Global Sales Director within a globally leading technology company specializing in complex, specialized plant construction. The Global Sales Manager will take on technical leadership duties, coaching the matrix Sales Force (Sales and Application Engineers) and implementing best practices across the organization. You will be instrumental in developing market strategies, coordinating both the technical and commercial aspects of sales and offer processes, and managing global accounts from pre-order through project handover to the Project Managers. A key responsibility involves leading complex commercial and technical contract negotiations and preparing competitive bids for major projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for interdisciplinary collaboration across R&D, Engineering, and Finance, within an innovative, international environment known for its supportive corporate culture.

Required Skills

Education

University or FH level technical degree (e.g., Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering), ideally supplemented by business administration, sales, or project management qualifications.

Experience

  • Several years of professional practice in comparable global functions as a Sales Manager.
  • Experience in companies with international structures, specifically within the project business of the technical industry (Plant Construction or Mechanical Engineering).
  • Specific experience in highly regulated sectors such as specialized plant construction, turbomachinery, or power plant construction is advantageous.
