Job Summary
This role involves the development of complex hardware for power electronics within the automotive sector. Day-to-day tasks include specifying passive article-specific components, creating cost-optimized circuit topologies, and optimizing the efficiency of power electronics. The engineer will also be responsible for designing snubbers, dimensioning chokes and transformers, and conducting regular cost analyses of power electronic systems, including semiconductors and passive components. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power electronics and initial professional experience in a similar role. Key qualifications include knowledge of PFC circuits, various DC/DC converter topologies, and experience with control algorithms for analog and digital converters.
