Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious Senior Scientist to drive technological advancements in downstream processing within the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. Day-to-day, the individual will develop downstream processes for recombinant cells and proteins in a regulated GMP environment, design and execute experiments using Quality by Design principles, and operate analytical and lab equipment for chromatography, filtration, and flow cytometry. The position involves handling samples, recombinant cells, and cell culture media, as well as documenting results and creating SOPs. Required Skills
Education
Successful degree in (Molecular) Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
Experience
- Several years of laboratory experience in an industrial pharmaceutical environment (according to GMP) or during a PhD
- Practical experience with analytical methods in downstream processing (e.g., chromatography, filtration)
- Experience in experimental planning (DoE)
- Experience in handling samples (procurement, collection, preparation, and distribution)
