Job Summary

This Microtechnologist role in Berlin involves the precise assembly and testing of optomechanical components and optical fibers under cleanroom conditions. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and mounting optical components, assembling precise optomechanical parts, and performing optical inspections of glass fibers using a microscope. You will also be responsible for cleaning, adjusting, splicing, gluing, and polishing glass fibers. The ideal candidate will possess a keen manual dexterity, the ability to follow written instructions, and prior experience working with microscopes and in cleanrooms. Experience in fiber optic cable technology is a plus.
